D16Y8 FJ Vitara build ***OCCASIONALLY*** sputters under load, and by sputter I mean one blip and then right back at it like nothing happened. Its not even enough to drop rpms, just as if it missed a beat and then comes right back, it does it under boost although I feel it is not related. AFRs are good, timing bang on. Only does this once and a while!!

Any suggestions? I am going to put anew cap and rotor on it tomorrow, plugs are new, 8mm taylor wires, should be all good there.

Well the Taylor wires are hardly old, theyre in great shape. Theres br7es plugs in it that have been in the for 2 weeks. The timing was set at the dyno two weeks ago also.
I will say i had the cap off it because i had to rewire my coil (will never run an MSD box again) and I noticed some of the contacts are looking fairly green. Ill likely just clean it up maybe sctch brite ir aome light sanding.

One spark plug tube seal needs replaced so im getting a tiny oil leak around my one cap right now.

Those are about the only things I could see potentially causing it.

No CEL. This is like one tiny fsrt and thats it. Occasionally not alway.
