Hey there guys..I have a few questions about an em1 project that I've been working on. I picked up a 2000 civic si with a blown b16 and decided to swap in a Jdm b18b (obd2a I believe). Currently using the em1 harness on the b18b with an obd2b to obd2a harness adaptor to run p75-a04 (obd2a) from a 99 Integra ls. I currently have no spark and not sure what the problem is. Do I have to change anything with the distributor as far as wiring to get this to fire? from what I've been reading there is no immobilizer in this p75-a04. Any input to this issue would be much appreciated

 

Does the fuel pump prime?

Any CEL codes?

Is fuse 9 blown?

 

The fuel pump does prime and there is one code which is p1298 eld high voltage when running the p75. My buddy let me try his p2t-a11 ecu and the car fires right up but idles rough and bogs under load. And no there are no blown fuses

 

Why was this^ not included in the first post? What do you think it means?

 

I tried the p2t minutes after making the first post and I would assume I bought a bad p75, correct?

 

It would seem so, if after installing the P2T, you reinstalled the P75 and obtained the same result of no spark.

 

Finally found another p75-a04 and same result..no spark. Any suggestions?

 

There is a wire that needs to be jump in order for the integra ecu to run the car. Does your jumper harness have that wire re-pinned already?

 

Do you know which wire needs to be jumped? I assumed the jumper harness would be ready to go but it's possible that it's not.
