To provide a comparison I recently sold my OEM C5.
160K on the odometer when it was pulled - burned typical amount of oil for the mileage.
Transmission was rebuilt (Synergy) with an new OEM 2-3 synchro and Mfactory 4.929 final drive. Clutch and lightweight flywheel (9 or 10 lb cant remember) have less then 5,000 miles on it.
HAsport motor mounts, shift linkage, radiator etc.
Went for $3100 earlier this year.
It also took 6 months for it to move but I didn't post it on an of the FB pages or craigslist not wanting it to go to a kid only to have it blown or stolen.
I think I modded motor might actually be more challenging to sell but good luck!

Thanks for the input sir. .
Id eventually want to go n/a k24 hopefully 350+ whp like everyone else hah. Just dreaming..
That motor with the matching VINS to your chassis is worth more to you down the road than the money you'd get for it today, IMO. ITRs are now 16-19 years old now and so many cars are missing the original motors. Once you loose the matching VINs, you'll never get it back. There's lots of owners looking for the original blocks from their car. If you really need to get rid of block to go K series, perhaps parting everything but keep the original short block and crank, just incase.

I bought my ITR with a rebuilt original VIN matching motor, it was rebuilt poorly, so when I couldn't afford to do the rebuild I wanted to do(All OEM, stock), I just bought a JDM R swap, was worth it, and I still have my OG block(and trans is still in the car) in case I ever sell it.
However, I have no intentions on making a decision THAT stupid...lol
