Question about traction.
I'm taking an automotive class and there is this guy that has an S2000 and claims that he can rev it up to 9k dump the clutch and only "chirp" the tires because of the LSD being so good. I don't know much about S2000's but I would think that even with the LSD you'd still be able to break traction and even more so when at 9k then dumping the clutch. Is this at all true about the LSD in the S2k or is this guy just a retard? let me know.
Just because a car has a LSD, or even a really good LSD, dosen't mean that it can't loose traction. Bad tires, poor road conditions, or any number of other things can make or brake your traction. So yeah, that guy is full of it
i think the lack of spin is because of lack of torgue but im pretty sure they can set them ablze with a 9k drop. im pretty sure i heard the way s2k drivers get good 60 ft times is with a 7k drop....
