What's the largest injectors you can run with just VAFC?
What is the largest size injectors that someone has run to make a daily drivable turbo settup?Using just the VAFC could I use 720's?Would it be very difficult to get it to idle good?
From what I have seen, the largest you can idle and remain streetable are 440cc. I know a few that have 550cc and they can idle them fairly well but that is on the edge of losing driveability. The reason that its so hard to idle say 720cc is b/c the AFC/ VAFC can only lean out a certain % of fuel. If you lean out 720cc 50% thats still ~360cc of fuel and thats too much to idle properly. HTH.
Hey guys I know I missed this by a few days. I am looking to run a vafc on my turbo gsr. Around 10 psi till I get an aem ems. Do you know what size injectors I can run and what I need. With 450dsm injectors I will need an fmu to hit about 65psi fuel pressure.. Will a 550 or 650 work and run properly? Is there any other mods I will need besides the vafc to make a bigger injector work correctly?

hpw in the hell are you making 720cc injectors idle fine with a AFC???
i am very interested in this.
for some odd reason it seems people are getting alot better #'s out of the VAFC and a set of injectors than spending the money on a hondata setup....
**** i think i may just put my VAFC and FMU back in my car, with a set of 440's!!!!!!
