Default EG civic hatch hood

Hi all,

I'm looking to get an oem hood for my eg civic hatch. What other oem hoods will fit besides the hatch one? Coupe (2dr)? Sedan(4dr)?

Thanks

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, But every EG body style has the same interchangable hood. They aren't like the EK where the front end changes slightly between the years 98-99

Coupe/hatch are the same. Sedan is different.

Very wrong, you are now being corrected: Hatch and coupe are the same; sedan and del sol both stand alone.

I believe hatch and couple are interchangeable but the sedan will not fit those

I was trying to sell the fenders from a 95 coupe as 2D/3D and a potential buyer told me the coupe fenders are about 3mm or so longer. This would make me think the hood is slightly longer too.

It is also why I think my wife's hood sits below the fenders and doesn't curve right to mesh properly, but for the life of me, I don't recall if we pulled a coupe hood or hatch hood for her car and the same goes for the fenders.

If they are all exactly the same, what would explain very minor but obvious fitment (shape) issues?

Well, just confirmed part numbers between the 2D and 3D... Dude informed me incorrectly and I was a bit busy to double check.

I'll have to ask why a hood wouldn't sit right with the fender in the autobody section sometime.

The 2D and 3D hood and fenders are the exact same part numbers. Ignore my post.

^ Coupe/Hatch: Fenders are the same part number. Buyer was out to lunch.

You have to be careful when buying very expensive fenders
