97 civic dx hatch push to start/radiator fan wiring help needed
Bought this car, it is swapped with a b20z2v so all the wiring appears redone, he did a very good job of it.
the push to start project was already started we were able to start the car by turning the key and simply putting two wires together, where the button that had fried he said, should've been and were told if that didn't work we could resort to jumping the starter with a small wire under the hood with the key on. My boyfriend messed around trying to get a button to work but ended up so that we only had the second option and now it s a pain in the *** and won't inspect with that in my state.
He can't do it I guess and stopped trying and won't help me figure it out so I watched a bunch of videos looked up diagrams and tried to wrap my head around it all last night. I think I figured out all the wires involved and where they come and go from. I hooked up a cheap button switch just to see and I got it to click but not turn over which is as far as he got. The car ran fine after I messed around with it and we went to bed I left the switch hooked up, not sure if that did it but this morning we woke up turn the key intending to use the wire to jump it but the fan that's would usually kick on as soon as the key is turned didn't Turn on. When connected directly to the battery the fan still works, I looked up all the fuses that could be related to either keyless entry or radiator fan and they seem OK 27 and 14 under the dash and another under the hood with the relay which I tested and I don't think it is that either but since it's already rewired I'm not sure what I'm missing since I have to use a power wire in the mix either way
What did I do, or what do I need to do to at least get that fan back on with the key (If not run a push to start I might need to buy a kit for that idk) but if I can at least get the car back to where we could use touch the two wires I could get the thing inspected

The radiator fan should not start immediately with the key. It has a thermal switch that leaves it off unless and until the radiator is getting too hot and fan action is needed. But that's another project.
The condenser fan will start immediately with the key if the A/C is turned on.
The starter wire is black with a white stripe from the key switch. If the car is manual there is a switch attached to the clutch pedal and a relay associated with the switch so the starter does not work unless you push the clutch all the way down. After the relay the wire goes right out to the starter. There is no fuse in line. If you have been repeatedly pulling the wire off of the starter to jump it, the plug may have become loose.

The previous owner rewired it for the fan to run all the time. I need to know how to do that so that I can check how it would be against how it is to get it back to how it was:
Also he rewired the whole start up thing so it isn't stock at all, he was planning on keyless: I will have to take some pictures but he bypassed the clutch somehow it might even be considered hot wired idk. There is a wire from the starter and the battery, and another bunch from the ignition to a keyless entry port abOve the fuses under the dash with one wire coming out that used to be one of the two that touched to start in place of a button. Then there is the fan wire and the one it was connected to, i was assuming battery but today it doesn't get power. And I am not unplugging anything to jump it either I used to turn the key on, the fan would kick on and I would use a small piece of wire to connect the starter to the starter solenoid I believe and the car would start.

Are you sure it isn't simply a dead battery? Turn the headlights on and try to start. If they dim way down or go out the battery is flat and needs to be jump started or recharged.
I thought it was for a minute but battery was good something between that and the key wasn't working I switched out the ignition switch because I have one on hand but that wasn't it either. I finally found the battery and ignition fuses were blown i am one stripped screw away from replacing the latter and hopefully that is that. Thank you.
Post lots of pictures of all items you wish to fix. It's very hard to understand what you're dealing with based on only your written descriptions.
