D16 turbo exhaust question

Default D16 turbo exhaust question

Hey guys, will a 2.5" downpipe bolt up to the factory exhaust? Just for the time being so I dont have to run open downpipe

Nope. You need to fab up a flange and run a test pipe or other apparatus. Nothing "bolts up" unless you have it preconfigured that way.

Oh OK. Just figured it might because the flange on the dp looks like it would bolt up

depends on which downpipe, they are not all built the same you would really need to contact the manufacturer as we have no idea which downpipe you are even looking at. Most quality downpipes I have seen do not come with a flange at all cuz they already know you will be welding anyway
