I'm looking for a manual samba green Del Sol to purchase...the few that I have found for sale have been D16Z6. I'd like to drive whatever I purchase for a couple of years before upgrading to the B18C1. My question is...how much of a pain would it be to upgrade from D to my swap engine? Will it be worth being patient and waiting for that stock B16 manual samba green del sol?

 

What do you plan on doing with the B18?

 

Just driving. Will be my Sunday car and annual getaway with my wife if I can find a babysitter as I have two young girls that won't fit. Trying to find a high mileage Del Sol and drive it until that engine nears the end of its life while saving money for a GSR engine.

Honda never gave samba sols the b16. Discontinued the paint in 94, only 95 and up have them.

Wow you're right on the paint! The Samba 95's I've seen I looked back at them and they were repainted that color. I did some more digging and saw that they did have B16 in '94.
