Swap b20b into 91 civic hatch - Having a hard time figuring out my harness situation.
For the past month Ive been collecting parts to swap a b20b into my 91 civic hatch dx. Now as we all know the motor is 0bd0 and DPFI. The only thing I have left before the swap is a go is my harness. I plan to buy the rywire obd1 budget harness. My only question is will this take care of the whole dpfi to mpfi thing. Like will I have to do anymore wiring. My guess is no but I wanted to confirm. Idk how much it matters but I'll be running a obd1 ls manifold, starter, alternator, trans and dizzy. Also what ecu would you guys recommend. I'm thinking p75! BTW I don't know if I did it correctly but I attempted to attach a picture of my progress in the car so far.
I would ask Rywire about what their products are designed to do, such as convert obd, add mpfi to a dpfi car etc.
Typically what I do is take my stock harness and modify it to fit the new engine and use a good quality obd jumper harness.

DPFI to MPFI is achieved by adding and moving wires to the engine side of the ecu connector from the engine harness. And a few wires to the dizzy ( injector n injector resistor stuff etc )
but mainly it's the ecu wiring that's tricky.
If you get an obd0 to obd1 adapter , you'll still have to add these wires.
If you get a Rywire harness , i'm 99.9% sure you wont have to do anything.
They ask which chassis you'll use and this is one of the reasons why.
** you "may" have to swap a few pins on the ecu side of the harness, which is pretty simple.

This is what I used. Had to hook up Vtec, O2, and dizzy wires. The ECU was plug and play. Check out their install instructions, they are very helpful.
