Dash/Tail/Running lights off when headlights on
1992 Civic DX D15B7 auto sedan
So here's the deal, when the combo switch is set to running lights only, the dash lights are perfect, tail lights are perfect, front marker lights are perfect.
When I flip the actual headlights on is when all the other lights go out immediately.
Brake lights work, turn signals work in both situations
All fuses are good, dimmer wheel thing is working and good.
I can flip the combo switch back and forth and the dash/tail lights will go out when the headlights go on consistently.
Is this an issue with the combo switch/stalk itself?

Quite likely still assembled in Canada for USDM market.
That info about USDM tells the wiring guru's like RonJ that there is no daytime running lights circuit in the mess.
Actually simplifies the wiring a fair amount.
Best of luck.

Gotcha, I'd have to assume it is not a CDM model. CDM models have to have the Daytime lights come on when the key is in the on position correct? I believe my 2000 toyota sienna is like that

They also don't shut off once on until you turn the car off.
I've read some models, they go off when you engage the parking brake but my 95 CX doesn't work that way. So to regain stealth you set the brake and shut the car off, then start her back up.
No night stealth driving though, good for safety at least on one end.
You could always wire up your HL to your parking lights for nighttime driving.
Or on the safer side, you could install a relay and direct wire it to you battery (inline fuse), then use your parking light wire as a trigger, or buy a switch to activate your HL when you want to.
You can gain alot more brightness too.

To be fair to the situation, RonJ stated this by post #4 and directed you to the FAQ for the diagram to be able to verify this without having to spend money on any parts beforehand.
