Turbonetics model number 10845-BB
This Ball bearing Turbonetics T3/T04B normally retails for $1,165. It has never been used or even mocked up. I ended up using a different turbo. My loss is your gain!
The Turbonetics T3 To T4B/E Hybrid Turbochargers offers the low inertia and fast boost response of the lightweight T3 turbine wheel combined with the high-airflow characteristics of the T4 compressor family. Most T3/T4 Hybrid Turbochargers are available with the patented Ceramic Ball-Bearing option. The Ceramic Ball Bearing T3/T4 Hybrid series offers the fastest spool-up. Coupled with extreme durability, the Ceramic Ball Bearing concept provides the best performance available.

As far as trades go, Im mostly interested in race prep and equipment. Ive been looking for a set of lightweight 15x7 wheels that will clear my 11" Wilwoods. Anything useful for road racing a CRX, throw it up there, Im open to anything.
Funny enough, that turbo can do that very thing for Circuit course racing.
That will probably happen if I cant get it sold. Im not looking forward to trying to make it fit with AC, but it should be possible with the right manifold.
I believe the T04B "Super V" compressor is advertised as being a 46 trim. The inducer is supposed to be 2.18" and the exducer 3.0", so 46 trim is pretty close to checking out based on those numbers. I cant find a compressor map for the "Super V", although you can find maps for the older T04B V-trim. This is supposed to be an updated compressor wheel with extended tips to improve flow, making it more "super". lol
My best guess would be that it flows something like 55 lbs/min at the most
According to go-autoworks, where this was purchased from, it is "rated at 400hp".
If youre looking to make right at 400hp, this should be a great turbo. You will have a much better powerband maxing this out than you would making 400hp on a turbo that supports 600hp. Not to mention the ball bearing will make it more responsive and faster spooling than a similarly sized journal bearing.
Im a little surprised how little info is available. No compressor maps on the turbonetics website.
I figured it would be similar to this, only with a little better flow capability from the extended tip design.
There was no extended tip in the exducer with this turbocharger unless it's the newer model from the TNX line. This is why we ask for photos that show at least a portion of the compressor wheel.
