Default Dirt Track- Stripped 99 civic suddenly skip then back to normal? (Solved)

We are at the dirt track with our 99 civic sohc car
It suddenly went into a dead skip and 20 seconds later cleared right up
Not sure how to approach an what could cause it
Plug wires look decent

Take car to AutoZone and have them connect a code reader.

Where is the cluster?

Went gradually from running on 4 to 3 to 2 cylinders and totally dead altogether
Cluster has been removed , it's a dirt track car interior and dash are gone

got it fixed, tried to test the coil but there are so many million settings on the mulitmeter
I ended up changing the coil and it fired up. I also found the plug wires were junk one was broken at the internal connector that snaps to the plug.
So I assume thats why it would run good then skip when getting bumped on the track it finally lost connection and we raced 3 more races on 3 cylinders and I think it fried the coil discharging with nowhere for the current to go
