Main relay doesn't click all of a sudden
Everything was fine last night now all of a sudden the main relay doesn't click when you turn the key
I took the relay off and tested for power
Only the yellow with white wire has power
The key being on or off makes no difference
Checked fuses they look good not sure exactly which ones to look at

There should be 3 powers...
1- 12V constant, hot at all time.
2- 12V switched, hot in run and start.
3- 12V switched, hot when cranking to start only.
Which one(s) are you missing?
What is the MM&Y of the car? 94

Considering that the main relay on these cars are commonly known to fail, it better to start troubleshooting the relay first rather than the wiring.
Main Relay Fix, Troubleshooting (Honda, Acura) and how to solder
or just buy the mitsuba relay on rockauto or ebay for like 20 clams.

You are correct, they are a common problem, but checking the relay first is like checking the engine that will not start before checking to see if you have gas and spark. 94
No it is not, you need to know if the relay is getting it's powers and ground, that will, in turn, let you know if the problem is the relay.

In fact, it is nearly the same proceedure.
Since we know for fact the main relay is a very common issue then logically you start there.
its logic, my friend.

How are you testing the relay if it's missing one of it's powers???
