95 civic - Need advice on D16z6 swap
Hey guys, looking to do my first engine/tranny swap on my 95 honda civic.
I'm swapping in the same tranny and motor which is the d16z6.
Any advice for a first timer? Any important steps before starting the swap? And I believe the swap should be a simple plug and play swap.
Anything i need to do before i start unplugging stuff besides labeling?
Will be doing this in my garage with a jack, jack stands and hoping on renting a cherry picker.
Thank you!

Take pictures. Baggie and label bolts. Change anything like timing belt, water pump, hoses, etc before you put it in. I've always taken the engine out from under the car but a cherry picker works too.
Thank you, as far as unplugging stuff just unplug and drain fluid right?
Oil, coolant and tranny fluid? Also release gas pressure? Anything i'm missing?

And as for the ac? Just unplug everything aswell?
Also found some bright orange plugs by the battery. Says something about brake fluid as well. I'm guessing that's the ABS?

Unbolt the compressor and leave it proper on the core support, unless you want to deal with letting the freon out. And make sure you don't plug the map sensor plug on the tps and vise Versa.
I figured you might have had an inkling of an idea into what's involved in R&R of an engine. Click this link for what you need to know..

Why do you need to print it? Just view from your computer.
See engine and transmission remove and install sections.
Check eBay.

2. I have checked ebay, no OEM service manuals (I put and order in at Helms for them to let me know when they get them in stock). I do have the Haynes manual.
