Default 99 Coupe Luxury Build

Hey guys still new here, feel free to move this if its in the incorrect section. I've had my EK for almost 2 months now so i figured i would start a build thread.

Disclaimer: 90% of people on here are going to think that everything that i'm doing is "rice" or just generally a bad idea on a Honda. I really don't care, i think that -7 degrees of camber is also "rice". To each there own.

I bought the car to have a fun daily driver that would reliably get me to work/ school everyday. This build is going to mainly be focused on making a comfortable/ sporty DD. Therefore engine mods are going to be kept to a minimum.

Here are some pics of when i first bought the car. The crappy cell phone pics make the car look better than it actually is. She's rough and needs a lot of work to even be presentable.

The velocity stack is a joke, right?

Why did you have to buy a laptop that supports S300?

How much did the rad. stay cost and where'd you buy it from?

Uh no it won't if you know where to look. Cuz I just googled prices for windows license and boot camp is "suppose" to come with the mac's. But whatever...your money not mine.

Its a H23 Vtec. The laptop was like $120 i'm not sweating it.

Small upate

Seeing as this is a luxury build i am trying to keep NVH to a minimum. To help with my goal I replaced my Innovative rear motor mount with a factory rubber mount.

Just replacing this one mount made such a HUGE difference. I would say about 70% of the engine induced vibrations are gone now.

Probably my favorite mod so far.

Here is a pic of the mount that I took out. For sale if anyone is interested.

It's getting there man.. Again it's your car not mine, but I'd suggest all new mounts if you haven't done them all yet, as my professional guess would be that the previous owner beat the **** out of it and those H mount inserts are known to disintegrate over time in EH/EJ/EG chassis as the torque just pulls them everywhere..

Also, what is the focal point of "luxury" going to be..?? I've never heard of a luxury built civic..

The other Mounts are maybe like 6 months old and they seem to still be in brand new condition. I want to keep 2 urethane mounts in the front and a rubber rear mount. I still have zero wheel hop but the whole thing doesn't vibrate like crazy.

The "focal" point of luxury is going to be that I can comfortably drive my car at 40+ MPH without having to scream to the person sitting next to me. I also would like to eventually add some sort of AC and/ or Power Steering. I've already started with some sound deading. More pics will be added soon.
