My F20b w/F23A1 & k series internals NJ
so I decided to do a build I haven't done before I've built H22 I've built f23 but never an f20b of course the f23 are cheaper to build being that you do not have to sleeve them unlike the H22 the f20b also does not have to be sleeved, it does not have the fiber reinforced sleeves like the H22 so that is what I decided to go with plus I have one laying in my garage LOL so with the parts I have left over in my garage I used the f20b block, F23a1 crank, H beam rods for the F23a1 and K20 wiseco forged pistons 9-5-1 compression. I had the block bored out to fit the 1mm bigger pistons and I'm going to be boosting this setup on 12 lbs. I'm running a JDM H22a built head with stage 2 BC turbo cams BC retainers and duel valves springs and a mild port and polish arp head bolts and high flow oil pump. I'm really excited to see how this build turns out and the kinda power it's gonna make.
any suggestions or comments I'd be happy to hear ty

Sounds like a cool build.
12 PSI means nothing tho, we have no Idea what your power goal is. 12 PSI could be 200 HP on a particular turbo and 500 on another

12 psi on 97mm would probably get you over 375 whp if turbo is bigger thatn 60mm
I am not a fan of ANYONES turbo cams... to be honest... I have seen them hurt overall hp and more importantly torque on dyno sheets I have seen. Use valve springs etc but use stock cams!!!! Most under 600hp use stock cams!!! the stock cam will provide more torque down low and midrange... what you want....

I agree with the above. Stay stock cam or no larger than a Tuner 1 (if that's available in an H22, I don't remember, honestly) with an H22 head for this type of desired use. I may have mentioned this before.

The head I have came fully built so the cams were in it. Should I sell them and put in my JDM H22a cams or I have type s cams from a f20b I got in trade?
Yes Stock Cams JDM H22 or Type S F20B MT cams however EuroR/TypeS cams must have the matching Valve Springs... or you will have rocker issues etc. So stock usdm or jdm h22 cams best.
Yes on a smaller T3/T4 50 trim... bigger cams would only be pointless but you would actually lose hp and torque.
