Hey I was wondering if I could get some help today I had my B18c5 engine compression tested today and the numbers came back as followed 155 135 130 175 now I got my Engine rebuilt bored to 81 1/2 I'm also running 9-1 compression Pistons my goal was to build it for Boost now I have it at the shop getting ready to get it boosted any answers

 

Something is wrong there.
How long have you been running the engine?
What did you do for break in procedure?

How was the compression test done?
- remove all plugs
- disconnect distributor

Do the test again. This time when you get a low number, drop a cap ful of oil in the cylinder and retest to see if the numbers come up.

 

I got the engine back into the CRX in January it was on the road beginning of February I say I put a little about 500 miles on the engine. as far as the compression test I don't know how he did it but I received the phone call saying that my numbers were low because my mechanic was getting ready to put it on the dyno and I have the Turbo hooked up. he did also informed me that he found some oil where the spark plug wire connect

 

Something obviously wrong, My HF has 295000 miles and still has 185-195 for compression
