Default T3 Turbo Flange Porting???

Hi,

I have a Garrett T3 50 trim turbo and a SPA rep cast top mount manifold from ebay. The turbine port is too small. From the pic below, the Turbine width is 1/8" smaller and the Length is 1/4" smaller. I dont know if that's usually normal having to port the the turbine housing? I'm not sure if I really want to port the Turbine larger as it may too big of a enlargement or cause cracking?

Top= Turbine
Bottom= Manifold

That's A lot of material, from past experience I would open it up at and angle and try to keep it as smooth as possible, seems like a lot of material in the last picture, best of luck ive seen it done before with 0 issues

Feel like it's too excessive. I'm assuming sometimes ppl do have to port it out some, but not this much. First time going boost so I'm unsure.

Leave it alone. It'll flow 1000hp like that. You could taper it but don't remove a ton of material

Definitely ok as it sits now. the only porting I ever did was at the inner volute back in 2010. that took a LOT of time. I don't plan on ever doing it again.
