Shaking when braking
Tie-rods, ball joints check for slop. Jack your car up and wiggle stuff in the front end steering/suspension stuff. Did you have your rotors resurfaced or replaced when you got your brakes done?
My car was doing the same thing, shaking during heavy braking, usually above 60 mph or so, and it turned out one of my front tires was bad. I got new tires and the problem disappeared.

Yeah the tires are new, and I got the lugs on just right after I put on the brake pads. But I probably need to bleed the brakes, haven't tried that. Anything else to check before performing these tasks?
my car is doin the same thing, but probably for a different reason, my d.s. axle is too long cuz i did an oddball swap and didnt get a custom axle yet, so as a result of that me wheel bearing is shot...i mean shot! so check your wheel bearing too...you can do that by jacking up the front end and shaking the wheel top to bottom (put one hand on top and one hand on the bottom, then shake). If there is any play you need a new bearing. If that is the case i would go ahead and get the hub right away too. You can get the parts pretty cheap through AC-Delco

i have never heard of aligning the brakes. Are you sure thats a real thing? Perhaps you talking a normal fron end alignment? ie. adjusting the toe/camber/caster and all that good stuff.
If that were the case he would only pull hard to one side.
Could be anumber of thing.
Is it doing it while the car is driving or only under braking conditions?

Its impossible to warp rotors on street cars with street brake setups.
