Hi i got a quick question can i dremel the numbers on my rods like the rod numbers etc? 1,2,3,4? one on the cap and one on the rod side the cap?
plesae let me know i take apart my rods and i just want to know. I've looked some people has these special rod number stamps to do it but i don't got that and i don't wanna buy one i have a dremel and a attachment can i just engrave it on there?

Why? You're not going to see them once they're in your engine.

 

I would just use a sharpie, i don't think you'll need to worry about it coming off if you're trying to engrave for that reason alone.

 

I believe he is tearing the block down and wants to properly label them so they are placed back in their respective positions when reassembled. Just my own guess
