im debating what to do with my tansmission. something is messed up with 2nd gear and 3rd if i shift at high rpms. 2nd gear grinds almost all the time unless give it a lot of time going from 1st to 2nd. weird thing is it shifts perfectly first thing in the morning, or after its sat for a long time. does anyone have any ideas for what it could be? i dont know if i should look into having a friend rebuild it, he just did his saab tranny. or just go to a u-pull yard and try to find another used b tranny. any ideas?

someone said it may be my clutch since it doesnt act up when its cold. the disc is new but the pressure plate isnt. the release bearing is new too. anyone?

 

sounds like your syncro's are goin out.

 

wow bro i have the exact and i mean EXACT same problem w/ my 95 gsr swap i am thinkin it is the synchros so im saving for an itr tranny with an lsd but if i find anything out i will hit u back ...do the same for me
