Default 350-400hp turbo

hey guys looking for some good advice and thoughts on my gsr build. will heres a list on my build.

b18c jdm gsr block
cp 9;8;1 compression 81.5mm with eagle rods (block is bore out to fit pistons)
stock crank (its balance already)
apr head studs
cosmetic head gasket
new honda type r oil pump
new bottom end gasket kit
morose oil pan
acl main and rod bearing
new water pump and timing belt and tensioner

b17 head
super tech valves, retainers, and dual springs (85lbs)
stock gsr cam shaft with type r cam gear
edlebrock intake mani with stock tb (all stock sensors)

stock b16 tranny (later future planing to get a type r or gsr lsd)
exedy 9lbs flywheel
exedy stage 2 4 puck clutch

turbo kit
t3/t4 turbonetic .63ar
goautoworks turbo piping and intercooler (2 1/4 hot side and 2 1/2 on cool side)
cast iron bottom mount turbo header (ac/ps friendly but not running ac/ps)


All other parts
all new water hose and vacuum hose
slim fans "should i go half size radiator or just stay full size"?
70a innovative motor mounts
rc 750cc
walbro 255 fuel pump
3inch exhaust piping (from down pipe to catback)
p28 hondata s300
oil pressure, turbo, and wideband gauges

this is pretty much everything on my build, so what you guys think of my first turbo build? let me know what you guys think or give me an advice to reaching my hp goal (350-400hp). One more thing this is going to a be my DD and i want it to be reliable and safe for the stock sleeves(2-4years hopefully longer).

from the top:

use an oem/je/golden eagle headgasket
any obd2 oil pump will work
use an oem pan the moroso tend to leak
you dont need the 85lb spring with the gsr cams, the 70lb will be fine
victorx is probably too big, maybe look up performerx,itr, or ultra without the spacers
you may want a heavier flywheel than 9 lb to keep the inertia up between shifts, even an oem itr is 12lbs and a good choice

i think you have a good handle on the rest of it, though if you want a cast mani maybe consider an inline pro.


i build a motor for a friend a few years ago, pretty much what you have going on here. it was a fun car, made mid 300's around 12 lbs boost. good luck

i have had a moroso oil pan for about 4 years now with no issues of leakage. the oem gaskets are the issues with the pan. go to my honda habit website and order there oil pan gasket kit and youll be straight.
