Re: Help With Turbo Sizing For My Set UP
There are a few turbos you could use in that situation
1. Silver Surfer
2. Borg Warner S256/S258
3. Garrett GT3076r
4. PTE SC61 (non-bb since the addition of the bb CHRA doesn't really help in any way other than transient response)
It all depends on what you want out of the turbo other than just sheer numbers. Each turbo has its strong and weak points...
Honestly, your goals are not out of the reach of your current 57 trim, but it wouldn't hurt to be safe and go a bit bigger

Re: Help With Turbo Sizing For My Set UP
I agree with the above. You have to determine what your budget an willingness to use water lines if needed. You also want to be more specific than a "quick spooling setup". think about the purpose that you're trying to achieve, and if you're trying to road race, street/strip drag race, or street car.
The differences that Schister66 is giving is in HOW you want that power. The Silver Surfer and GT3076R have SIMILAR characteristics, but over $200 cost difference b/w the 2, and the surfer is rebuildable while the GT30R is not, if it were a problem.
Don't forget with the GT3076R, or any in that family, you'll not only need the correct waterlines and fittings, but new dp flange, return flange, oil feed restrictor, etc. That requires a lot of changing of the parts you already have with your 57 trim. I'll PM you some info on the Silver surfer, as this will bolt DIRECTLY to the setup you already have without any changes to the hard parts.
