94 Del Sol Stock D16Z 5 speed
Local shop replaced motor mounts 2 years ago now the rear mount is history and looks like the others are tearing out. From what I can see they all look like they were replaced (except for the rear mount which I can't really see all that well without pulling it)
My question is which mounts do you guys recommend?
I looked on rock auto and autozone and can find part numbers for 4 mounts but I believe there are 5 mounts?
Left lower, left upper, right lower and rear.
What about the right trans mount? Would that be under trans mount? Hmm...

Anyway, any help would be much appreciated

Ok I answered my 5th mount question. Trans mount. Duh....

 

Why not Hasport for the two uppers and rear and OEM for the two lowers?

Aren't there some ebay sellers that actually have surprisingly good mounts for cheap prices? Yokohondur or something like that, i forget.

I dunno why but I bought anchor mount

 

Ordered the mostly Anchor mounts from rock auto. After playing the cart shuffle with their website I managed to get all 4 mounts plus a clutch master to all ship from the SAME warehouse. No small feat. Anyway, $55 for the mounts so for that price I will take my chances on the "cheap" mounts. The upper mount still looks now and since it is the most expensive its staying.
I will update when they arrive as i'm sure many of you can't are on the edge of your seats...............

I recommend upgrading to hasport or innovative mounts. If you do any spirited driving, it makes a huge difference in road feel. Otherwise, oem. The most important ones to worry about being of good quality are the rear-lower, and both side engine mounts.

 

So just finished the motor and trans mount. The owner had a local shop do the mounts about 2 years ago and they did not do the rear which takes all the torque of the drivetrain. Anyway, here is the mounts I used

 

The rear mount was toast



Lot of good the warranty was.

So after bolting everything back following tth torque specs all is good.
No vibrating.
Hopefully these mounts last.
For the money I would recommend these mounts from Rockauto for a stock type dd DelSol
