Default CX wiring harness

Hello all I am new here and also a noob....don't give me **** please as I'm am learning the Honda game...

Any way, I have a 93cx hatchback. I plane on swapping the motor with a a6/y8 mini me installed.

I have a p06 that is chipped for vtech.

1- what harness or jump harness do I need to work the VTEC in the existing CX wiring harness?

2- also do I need a jump harness for the distributor and IM?

3- do I need to add 3 more wires to the 02 sensor?

Anything I'm missing let me know

Thank you.

You will need a distributor obd2-obd1 jumper harness, you will need to wire in the vtec solenoid and the oil pressure sensor as well. Not too sure about the o2 issue, as I just had my ecu tuned after my build was finished and deleted the o2... Best of Luck!

You sure I don't need a sub harness for the ECU?

I have a p06 chipped for VTEC I just need to wire it in.

Are you talking about the harness that runs from ecu thru the firewall to the shock tower junction? That ideally should stay with the vehicle and not be removed. But in any case, that should be used again unless there are some known issues with that harness.

Your correct I'm wrong. I just need distributor jumper and wire in everything else. The swap motor I have has the wires coming from the motor to plug into my existing harness....is that going to work cause the head is a y8 or 0bd2 and the block which is a a6 is obd0 correct?
