Honda Accord 2001 idle screw 2.3 l LX
The idle screw that screws into the throttle body...... Looks like a half moon....... and where the throttle cable meets the wheel connected to the throttle body where the Springs are ..... there's a small nut and bolt idle adjustment... do both idle adjustments do the same thing mechanically..... This would be really helpful thank you....... Do they both open or close the butterfly ..... Or are they two separate settings....... The throttle cable tension is fine.. Just a little Slack thanks again

Both adjustments should be left as delivered from the factory on a stock car, if you have a low idle clean your throttle valve with carb spray and a tooth brush, avoid spraying the tps area of the throttle shaft. The half moon screw is an air bypass port, the screw w/locknut is throttle angle or minimum airflow adjustment changing this one may set a tps code, air bypass screw no harm done. Clean throttle valve first, adjust air bypass as last resort.
