Default Engine bearings

I would like someone to double check which color bearings I need.
Main journal block stamp CCDDD
Crank main bearing stamp 44543
Crank rod stamp CBBA
The Piston Stamps Are 2323 (starts with cylinder #1)

Default Re: Engine bearings

On my LS block, the deciphered codes didn't match what I wanted anyway.
Measure properly the journals on the crank, and the big ends of the rod, and trust Earl's chart of OEM bearing thicknesses for ordering.
I wanted to be sure so I measured some installed shells with a bore gauge.
Careful not to scratch them! Think I sacrificed a couple extra colors trying.
And/Or plastigage.
Aim for clearances used for whatever your gonna build for.
Boost, N20 or all motor
Still together, low boosted and beaten on for 5 yrs.
