Default Loss of power after accelerating

When driving everything is fine. If push the pedal down an speed up to about 80mph+ then slow down and go again its like it has no power literally nothing, can barely get out its own way basically haha. If that makes sense

What year Honda are you driving, and engine/transmission type and miles on it ???.This is info that should be the first thing,as it's like walking in the dark with out a flashlight .What maintenance has been done in the last 5000+ miles if any ???. I would begin with a tune up (plugs/wires/air filter/pcv valve)change the fuel filter too,and go from there .

2001 accord f20b tiptronic has 75000 miles I have just done full service minus wires and fuel filter. Fuel filter in these are attached to the pump itself if I'm correct? Recently bought the car dunno of service history.

Don't know if I explained clear enough. But like I said driving normal everything is fine. Drive it fast either to overtake someone or just go fast. It has no problems but after that when you slow down like to a corner an try to go it doesn't want to go its like its flooded but no gas smell, it does have a little backfire coming from the engine bay though. An after it clears up the car is fine again. I live in the Bahamas so parts I usually have to order myself have no spark plug wires on the island.... any help would be appreciated

Have you tried pulling codes ? That would be the first place to start. This sounds timing related so it's possible the crank sensor is dirty. Perhaps the spark plugs are bad.

Will check the crank sensor, new plugs are in just no wires. Don't have any engine light but will check for codes

Your car should have coils not wires. The crank sensor is down at the crank. You should clean off the timing pulley as well since the crank sensor reads off of it. Also clean the cyp sensor at the front balance shaft and the pulley.
