lagging at low rpm
Verify base ignition timing is correct.
Warm engine up full to hot.
Jumper two wire blue connector located under/behind the glove box door.
Check base ignition timing. It should be on the red mark on the crank pulley.
Check the timing belt is still under proper tension.
Verify the nut on the timing cover has not loosened or gone missing.
Verify the cam to crank timing is correct. With the crank at TDC(white mark) the camshaft should be either 'UP' with the arrow or the 'UP' will be facing down. There are two marks on the camshaft sprocket that should line up with the top of the head. Removal of the cam/valve cover is needed to verify.
