Jdm b20 from CRV into del sol, question with b20
Hey, I'm picking up a B20 for a del sol with a blown B16A. It's a JDM B20 and the junkyard told me I have to change the crank sensor and the oil pump otherwise the car won't run? Is this true? It's going in an OBD1 shell with an OBD1 computer that ran the JDM B16A.
Thought it was a P72, my friend said. It was. Double checked today during the swap it's a P28, OBD1. Can this still run the B20?
So far I've swapped the alternator, and cut and spliced the injector plugs from the B20 harness to the B16 harness and am using the B16 harness on the B20. Motor will be ready to drop in on Tuesday once we finish cleaning and painting the engine bay.

Why are you guys even worried about the ecu being chipped..? Just run an Ls ecu ..turn up the fuel pressure by 3psi to not run lean ..unless you guys are going to tell him to do a retune on a chipped p28
