Default Odd noise not sure if coming from tranny or wheel bearings???

First i have been having issues with the car feeling like its dragging. Like i will sit at a light in neutral at a slight hill but car will not roll or move like as if i was holding the brakes.. So i jack car up and put it on jack stands look for play in wheel and doesnt have no up and down or side to side play... I go to spin the wheel tho and it feels like the car is in gear and wheels do not spin free at all, i also hear a clunking noise when i spin the wheel front or back so idk if it maybe the tranny bearing or diff or wheel bearing idk... Just looking for some input or maybe some body had the same issue.. Thanks in advance

If you jacked up the car and there's no side by side or up and down play in the wheel, then it's most likely not the wheel bearing.

But you said when you try to spin the wheel it gets stuck when the car is in neutral? Check your shift linkage to make sure everything is lined up correctly. If the linkage looks normal, then i would assume something is wrong internally in the transmission.

Any other symptoms? Grinding gears? Pop outs?
