Re: wheel bearing? (305accord)
It can cause sudden "pulling" on the wheel, both as if it were out of alignment as well is feel like it is slowing the car down if the bearing is bad enough. When beginning to accelerate you can sometimes hear a screaching or grinding noise comming from the bad wheel or at the least a deep humming noise while driving. It can smell like burning grease after a drive. It can cause the wheel to pull out of the hub and in a wose case scenario cause it to pull from the axle and cause a wreck obviously. If the car is jacked up a couple inches from the ground and you use a prybar to try to move the wheel around there may be play in it. That's all I can really think of right now, anyone else have some symptoms?

Could be a bad ball joint...and you're positive it's not the strut? The main thing is the only real "hidden" cause of something like that WOULD be the wheel bearing as in your first post however if you get under the car and check all of the bushings. From the tie rods to the mounting of the struts check EVERYTHING. If you have rubber that is hard and cracked or torn...you may want to have it checked out.

a bad front wheel bearing will first make a wow-wow-wow-wow noise when you're driving down the road, as it gets worse it will get louder and louder. I've been there, it's obvious.
if the axle nut is not tight the bearing will back out of the knuckle and cause strange things to happen, make sure that's tight.
bouncing tires usually points to out of balance tires.
On top of what bart2546 said... it could also be your axles, rotors, calipers, and brake pads. Again like bart2546 said, anything in that area.
