Default 93 Hatch B20b Swap

So I need to do a valve clearance adjustment from what I was told and I don't really know how to do one... Any suggestions or tips on how to do one so my motor can keep running? What should I replace or check to make sure it's nothing else...Any help would be greatly appreciated 😁 Please and thank you

service manual is the best bet. there is probably something on youtube but be weary and take it with a grain of salt you dont know how good of a mechanic the poster is. you can find the service manual pages by image searching google for "b18b valve adjustment helms" main things to keep in mind

-18 ftlbs for the lock nut on the nonvtec
-with the notorious tendency these motors have to tighten up and burn exhaust valves, i would lash it looser, at the upper end specs (.005" intake and .007" or so exhaust)and check it often like maybe twice a year.

if your motor stopped running or had an issue, i would make sure to compression check it and leakdown if you get bad compression to make sure it did not already toast an exhaust valve. if so, the b20s primarily use the p75 head from the integra ls/gs/rs b18b. all the parts are interchangeable. ****, if you have a low compression b20 aka b20b i would toss in the b18b p75 intake cam it will keep your b20 from falling on its *** at 5500 rpm
