97 civic lx/ex throttle body quick question
hello there, its been awhile since ive been on here. i have a 1997 civic lx, d16y7 of course and im getting ready to do the d16y8 intake manifold swap. Got an automatic y8 manifold for cheap and while im swapping it i am picking up a thermal manifold and throttle body gasket. Now my question is, are the y8 automatic and manual throttle body gaskets different? i checked advanced auto online and noticed a little difference in the gaskets but id like to find out for sure. Thanks!
I think they are different. Auto y7 and auto y8 tb gasket are the same I believe. At least I think they are, from reading this guide.

I have gather all parts to do the swap on my 98Lx. Just waiting for warmer weather.
I am using my stock tb with the tb rotor from an auto y8 tb.. Everything you need are in that link. I would read through all the pages. Very clear guide..
