hi guys im new to this forum an i was wondering if someone can help me out here so heres my problem.
ok so i just recently replaced the clutch, throwout out bearing, and pilot bearing and somehow it still sounds as if the throw out bearing is bad when i press the clutch in the whining noise goes away. anybody have an idea of what else it can be?

Your input shaft bearing is toast.

 

Thanks for the reply! I am planning on swapping the engine soon. Would u recommend fixing it ASAP? If so where is the input shaft located

 

google it, this information is everywhere. effort is your friend. a bad isb can go for 100k miles, or 10. no way of guessing at it. if you are concerned about keeping the correct transmission on your car, id get at it sooner than later... when it lets go it will destroy your transmission.
