Chrisc543's GLSR Turbocharged Build progress & suggestions
Hello,
I have been doing lots of research over the last year for a GLSR build.
Here is my parts lists. My question would be is it feasible to think with 11.51 static compression I can boost later with 93 octane? Or would i have to do E85 or Meth injection? After putting all specifics into compression calculator when it came to 11.51 i thought i was going to be more around the 11.0 range with increased stroke.
GSR Block
81.5 mm Wiseco Piston - K566M815AP
LS Eagle Rods
LS Crank
ACL Bearings
GSR Head
Ferrea 6000 Turbo STD Valves
Brian Crower Valve Springs and Steel retainers
410cc RDX injectors
AEM Fuel Rail
Quantum 340LPH fuel pump
s300 or AEM v2
My hope is to build, drive for a year or so most likely until I can save for a turbo kit.
Thanks,
Chris

Yes, you would be able to boost at that Cr with 93. Just make sure you get a good tuner, and e85 or meth can be added later for more power. Most here recommend high compression for boost.
This is literally the same title. NA or Boost. You may want to retitle yours to avoid confusion for others, please.
