Default exhaust tips

This is probably going to sound hella stupid... but im a newbie, what can i say!
im not sure i want the loud sound from a muffler/exhaust, but i like the look.
So, here is my question:
Is it gay to stick two fancy exhaust tips on my 99 accord v6?
...purely for cosmetic/appearance reasons.

Personally, if i could get my car to sound a high pitched scream like a f1 car, rather than the loud fart of a nascar, id be happy.
any comments/suggestions welcome... like i said im still new at this.
thanks

Unless you have very high compression your car will never scream like an F1 car!!
As for the tip, if you are afraid of the sound ger a muffler with a silencer built in. It is still loud, but not as loud as just a muffler!!
Go with the Ractive brand, some of them are not as loud!!

dc one..

i think the fart sound you are referring to is the sound of a car with just a muffler and the stock piping from the cat back...most cat-back exhaust systems sound really good and are a lot deeper than what you are reffering too....and the f1 sound you are reffering to is something only found in the high rpm's...so u can actually do this by simply getting an afc that cuts the rev limiter and then unbolt the header from the rest of the exaust, and simply rev until you hear that sound you are looking for...other than that you will never get the f1 sound due to the fact that 16000 rpm's and 6200 rpm's are very different....
