Hello, so the other night on my way home from work, my 2000 civic si decided to die on the side of the road, it was sputtering pretty bad, made a small ticking noise from the motor and I noticed lots of white exhaust smoke, so I pulled over and the car died and wouldn't start back up.. I need a bit of help with what you think it could be. I started with replacing plugs, wires, cap and rotor - car still wouldn't start. Replaced coil and still nothing. Checked for fuel by removing the fuel line off the filter and that's not an issue. I checked compression on all cylinders and 2, 3 & 4 came back really low. My oil looks fine as well as my coolant. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

 

Sounds like a blown head gasket. Post the compression numbers for all 4 cylinders and do a leak down test.

 

I am assuming its stock OBD2? ANy CEL's or codes?

When my car did that the dizzy took a dump on me and the HG went out around the same time too.

 

Correct, stock OBD2. I pulled my CEL code and it came back "Misfiring in 4th cylinder."
