Lookin for a top mount turbo kit. Lines, turbo, mani, intercooler, plumbing,controller. And anything else I'm forgetting. But I'm only lookin for about 300whp...any suggestions? Don't really wanna spend a fortune. But doubt that will happen.

 

Is there a specific reason you're wanting a top mount manifold?

 

How about you use google instead of expecting others to do the same for you?
Top mount is way too much $ and runner length for 300whp.

 

gonna respectfully disagree. a b20 will spool a turbo just fine with a top mount.

Not really. I just like them and looks like they are easier to work with.

 

My buddy has a go autoworks t3 top mount running a 61mm turbronetics turbo and a single 38mm mvs gate. It made 410whp @ 16psi and came online @ 4800rpm, out of a b16. So as long as you have the right turbo, manifold, and tuning combo a top mount will work just fine.

 

A simple log manifold will hit those goals just fine, and be a much better driving experience. To add, you'll save a bunch of money.

When it comes to "being easier to work with", if a quality turbo is used and everything is installed properly, there shouldn't be much to deal with after install and tuning.

 

And i'm going to disagree with you, but not just in thought...i have proof from personal experience

Shorter runner manifolds spool faster than topmounts = Indisputable fact. This isn't to say topmounts are pointless...they have their place and a 300whp street car is NOT it.
