Anyone have ways to bevel sch 10/40 pipe lets see the ways you guys are doing them

 

Belt sander?

 

angle grinder?

 

Bench grinder?

 

laser cut?

 

Oxy-acetylene pipe beveling track cutter thing?

 

This guy made an awesome setup I would like to replicate. His first version could be done really cheap. Version two is wow.

That is ingenious!

 

After reading the thread linked above, I decided to make my own beveling tool out of a repurposed Harbor Freight electric die grinder and some scrap steel.







Still needs some fine tuning, but it should work out pretty well. I need the little posts about ⅛" higher or so and one needs to be relocated.

 

Here's one I made. Looks like *** but works like a charm

 

I use a mittler bros end mill....probably a little over kill, haha
