idle surge

Default idle surge

i have a d15 b7 that I just replaced my water pump and tensioner and not the idle is surging any leads

You missed a couple things, but you're still a far sight better than most first threads. Specifically, what chassis your engine is in, if it's original or modified, if the CEL is on, and if the CEL works. Answer those four questions, and then re-bleed your coolant.

Fool proof bleed 101:
1 - Secure the front end on jack stands or rolling ramps (or, if desperate, park facing up a hill).
2 - Remove radiator cap
3 - Start car, and let it idle for two radiator fan on/off cycles, keeping radiator topped off at all times. Yes, it will spill. That's OK.
4 - replace radiator cap, turn car off, make sure the overflow tank is within range, and you're done.
