Default 99 ek - h22a --> d15b7 mount problems

Hey guys I just swapped out my h22a out out of my ek and I'm swapping in a d15b7 with a z6 head into my ek. The d15 came from my 95 del sol 5 speed. I bought a set of mounts for the ek for a d series mounted them up and having trouble getting the motor to line up with the mounts. Am I using the wrong t bracket(del sol t bracket) also I have the correct 5 speed passenger bracket. Looks like the t bracket is to long? Also can I use they del sol axles in the ek? Any help appreciated!

you need ek brackets, not eg. del sol is similar to an eg.

The rear T bracket is dependent on the chassis, not the origin of the motor. Any D series in a 96-00 Civic will use the 96-00 D series T bracket. Any D series in a 92-95 Civic will use the 92-95 T bracket. Any B series in a 96-00 Civic will use a 99-00 B series T bracket. Any B series in a 92-95 Civic will use the 92-95 (or Integra) T bracket.

You need a 96-00 D series T bracket.

depends on the subframe thats on the car, t-bracket bolts up to the rear mount that is bolted to the subframe...

Yes, that is all assuming you're using the stock subframe.

Ok thanks guys. Also can I run the axles from the del sol into the ek? I had recently put new axles in the del sol before pulling the d series.

Ok guys I got a 96-00 t bracket for a 5 speed and installed it and still not having any luck with my mounts lining up its like the motor still needs to move back. The mounts I ordered are very similar to the oem theey came from yonaka with a lifetime warranty and says they will work for a 96-00 wwith d or b series.

Pictures would help immensely.

NARC, would the driver side post mount make a difference between the 5th and 6th gen chassis?

The part of the mount that's bolted to the block? I'm not sure. They look similar at least, looking at parts diagrams, but they use different part numbers, so I'm not going to say definitely yes or no.

Yeah that's exactly what I'm talking about.

I am almost 100% sure it'd need to be from a 96.

Reason being, the chassis mount is different in the EG/DC, and we have to use the EM1 mount in the 6th gen chassis to put in a b series and still use D series chassis mounts.
