Icon5 Getting a "Thunk" while shifting

Hey everyone. I have an 06 1.8 and just had full set of new engine mounts installed. However, my technician informed me that one of the stud posts the tranny mount goes over is messed up to where the nut just keeps turning when trying to torque it down. Plan to get the new part(probably going to get the part the mount stands on and 2 new studs). Will this ruin the new engine mounts if i drive it like that? Thats my main concern. Should at most be able to get parts replaced within 1-2 months. Any help is appreciated.

I wouldn't plan on any spirited driving before that stud / mount bracket is replaced. I personally wouldn't drive it until the mount is repaired.

Just curious. How did you repair? This is a common problem and access to the nut is very limited.

I had to replace the mounting base and the two studs that go into it. Problem solved.

I was going to suggest installing a nut since the thread on bracket was stripped.
