Civic/Integra's use a total of 5 mounts. 3 main ones and 2 torque mounts. The Front tranny mount on my gsr swap is broken, Is it really that big a deal to use it on my hybrid or can I just forgo it and use 4 mounts: 3 main and a/c torque mount??

I didn't use my front mount and at the time the bolt that goes in the tranny through the bottom of the mount was also broken,other parts of the rear mount were in tact, my side mounts were stock but virtually new...WHEEL HOPPED ONCE GETTING ONTO FREEWAY AND I KNEW THE REMAINING MOUNTS SUFFERED THE CONSEQUENCES THEY WERE NEARLY TORN WHEN CHECKED
Basically your engine won't fall out just don't launch hard, double clutch when driving it hard, check your mounts conditions..O.K. IF IT'S JUST FOR COMMUTE.....
BUT JUST BUY THE MOUNT TO PRESERVE OTHERS IF YOU DRIVE HARD..

Is it the mount bracket that's broke or is the tranny broke which would keep you from using the bracket? If the bracket/mount is broke I would replace it. The front lower tranny mount and A/C bracket/mount keep the motor/tranny from rocking back and forth. I would say that you would be fine just as long as you definitely use the A/C mount. By not using it you might see premature wear on the other mounts.

The three 17 mm bolt holes are broken on the pass side front tranny mount. All other mounts are fine.
