New Guy on the Block! 1990 Integra Build
Hello everyone,
My names Nate, I live in Southern California. I grew up around cars; working on them, driving them, cleaning them, crashing them... My recent build has brought me to all of you! I have been yearning to join this community for a while and am finally glad to start a build! I bought my cousins old 1990 Acura Integra LS. Idk why but i love the 4 doors! And the color. Its Jasper Green. It needs a lot of work but I like it. The car hasn't been registered since 2007 and it has run since 2006! So 10 years later I am reviving it! It has a semi new bottom end because my cousin but a new bottom end in it in 2007 and then went to jail before getting it running. He originally blew up it running Nitrous on it with a MSD Pro Cap, MSD ignitor, etc. He also had a few small mods like headers and exhaust but for the most part just the NOS and MSD system. After Tearing into in for a couple days now, the wiring system is completely fried from the MSD to the grounds, so I'm trying to replace all the grounds and burned up wires. I just want to get it just running decent again.. Ill post some pics of it and what I'm dealing with.
But what do you guys think I should do with the MSD system? Keep it and try to get it running with that or just go back to the distributor cap and ignitor? Part of me just want to go straight back to stock because i just want it to run and another part wants to make it work with the MSD. I would appreciate everyones opinion! Thanks in advance for all the help and I can't wait to make a contribution to the community.
