Default ECU help ! please!

how different is the 1994 civic ex ecu and the 1993 civic SI hatch ecu?
i know in 1995 the ecu changed a few pins,
please help!

i believe that the 93 si ecu isnt vtec..please correct if wrong.

if your getting CEL, try reseting the ECU.

All 5th gen Si's were VTEC, and all 92 Civics are wired for VTEC. I don't see why you'd be getting a light, what code are you throwing?

theyre the same ecu (p28) if the check engnine light came on, them one of the pins are fucked on the ecu that throws the cel

Yeah because if you do then you'll get an automatic tranny code light.

im throwing the crank angle senser i changed the distributer and still the same thing...yes the distributer works fine i stole it from my buddys motor!

here is the brake down...
car: 1990 civic hatch
engine: 1995 civic ex
engine harness: 1994 ex
ecu: I was using the 94 ecu but my friend confinscated it!
so now the 93 si ecu...i was running ...for about 2 weeks, then i put the car in the garage for a few days then when i came back for it... here we go the problem started!

oh yea i ckecked the risistance in the wires from the ecu harness to the dis. ind its fine!
should i try the 94 ecu again?
