Can an Omni tach be installed into a DX model cluster?

Default Can an Omni tach be installed into a DX model cluster?
My 94 & 95 civics are DX trim level, without a tachometer in the gauge cluster. That slot is filled by a coolant temperature gauge.

If I were to install an aftermarket coolant temp gauge with my oil pressure gauge, can I use that slot for the omnitach? Will it physically fit? Is the wiring there already?

I believe the Omni tach is too big for that cutout.

even if the opening were the same you ould have to work the circuit board to get it operating.
