Default Need help: so close to getting trans out

So I'm trying to change the clutch on my 90 si. You guys have been a great help so far. I took a few days off and now I'm back.

I'm pretty sure I have it down to the last bolt but no matter how hard I wail on it with my air gun, it won't budge.

Are there any work a rounds?

Thanks. You guys rule. I can see how this would go way better if I had worked on Hondas before. But oh well. I'm 48.9% there.

A 5 point socket, a long extension, and a breaker bar.

Done.

The head of the bolt is a Hexagon so a 5 point socket wont do the trick.
You are not using the right tool, that bolt comes out.

Worst case, some heat to help it along.

pulling my trans for the first time, i had the same issue. instead i pulled the bolt attatching the bracket to the bushing, then removed the bolt from the bracket once the trans was out with WD-40, P-Blaster, and a long handled ratchet. also just a note, the transmission will NOT come off with the starter attached. that had me hung up well over an hour before i figured that out my first time

If you are stuggling with the transmission just remember if everything is loose it should pop right out

Don't go banging and prying on it as you can damage the soft aluminum casing.
