Default z6 head on d15?

Can I put a z6 head on my d15 and not hook up vtec or vtec ecu and run the car as it would be without vtec? Or does vtec head have to have vtec to run

I'm sure it'll run fine but I don't know exactly how the non-VTEC lobes will react with the ECU.

Spend the money you would on parts and buy a DOHC swap. Same power with more potential.

Hey there, I stayed with my oem d16a6. I don't really regret the decision, But If I were to start again.
I would opt for the dohc zc.

Just looks a lot nicer to fill the bay up.

MOre torque, more hp.

OEM mounts, all you need is to modify the dizzy plug on your engine harness.
Plus a llot of d series parts fit it

The zc was my first opinion but I decided to do the b2 cause all the **** talking I'm gonna completely build it then later spray it down the road
